About
Tatiana Zigar is a photographer with a passion for street, landscape, and black-and-white photography — always drawn to the beauty of everyday moments.
Her love for photography began unexpectedly when she found an old Russian Zenit film camera gathering dust in her parents’ house. That discovery sparked a lifelong fascination with capturing the world through a lens. Travel was her first love, and photography became her way of storytelling – documenting landscapes, people, and fleeting scenes along the way.
After years of living in London, Tatiana swapped city life for the Romanian countryside, where she now embraces a slower pace, surrounded by nature and endless inspiration. Black and white photography has become her signature style, allowing her to highlight contrast, texture, and emotion in a timeless way.
Tatiana has been a finalist in Landscape Photographer of the Year multiple times, as well as the Street Photography International Awards. Her work has been featured in Landscape Photographer of the Year books and exhibited at the Royal National Theatre in London.
When she’s not out chasing the perfect shot, you’ll likely find her enjoying a quiet countryside moment — camera in hand, always ready for the next story to unfold.
